A technical read ahead of a 2.5M euro seed round.
Ynteq's product and tech were assessed for No Such Ventures ahead of the seed round it went on to lead.

Ynteq builds an AI-native maintenance platform for manufacturers, where technicians ask questions in plain language and get answers from asset histories, manuals and work orders. The company was mid-transition: a first version live with more than 30 customers, and a next-generation platform being built in-house for scale. Ahead of the round, No Such Ventures wanted an objective read on the product and the technology carrying that transition.
How it went
An X-Ray for the investor
Both the live platform and the next-generation build read in a single assessment. No interviews required: code, repository metadata, the architecture document and the product roadmap were the inputs, with reports about a day after the last input landed.
Investor read-out
A focused review with No Such Ventures, with the findings placed in the context of the investment decision.
Joint read-out with the company
A session with the founders, the engineering lead and the investor, covering the findings and what to pick up after the round.
“The X-Ray took almost no time on our side. We handed over both codebases and the report came back fast, and it was a logical read: it flagged the things I would flag myself if I were doing a DD, and we picked up the useful bits straight away.”
What the X-Ray surfaced
- Sound engineering foundations under both the live platform and the next-generation build
- A next-generation platform deliberately architected for scale and for adding AI features
- A small team making pragmatic choices, with a clear reason behind each of them
- Nothing that changed the investment case
The outcome
- A 2.5M euro seed round, led by No Such Ventures
- A clear technical picture for the deal team, ahead of the close
- A prioritised set of recommendations for the team, all actionable after the round

Before co-leading Hadrian's $40M round, Smartfin and Forgepoint Capital wanted an independent read on its product, technology and team. The X-Ray, with a short confirmatory phase, confirmed solid technology, a strong team and a defensible platform.

Duqu
Curiosity VC ran an X-Ray on Duqu's product and technology before investing. The same report was later shared with No Such Ventures, and both funds backed Duqu's 1.5M euro pre-seed round.

Marble
Smartfin ran an X-Ray on Marble's product and technology before leading the company's Series A. From kick-off to final reports took two working days, and the assessment confirmed a solid technical foundation with no red flags.
