VIKTOR is a platform for engineering and construction firms that enables engineers to create and share custom web apps. By automating repetitive design processes, VIKTOR helps engineering teams collaborate, deliver better designs in less time, and unlock their full potential for solving complex problems.

Why they asked for our help

As a platform that empowers engineers to build and share custom web apps using Python, VIKTOR needed an efficient way to align its product roadmap with company-wide goals. Their roadmap process relied on monthly meetings with stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and the Management Team to collect input and categorise initiatives by themes — but initiatives were not consistently prioritised based on measurable value.

Without a clear method to quantify expected returns, VIKTOR found it difficult to compare initiatives by the value they bring for the company. Stakeholders felt it was hard to assess whether priorities were being set in the right way, and there was no established process for evaluating the potential return of each initiative, which made decision-making less effective.

How we approached it

VIKTOR adopted the Scaleflow Platform to address these challenges, transforming their roadmap management process. All upcoming initiatives are now entered into the Scaleflow Platform, where the team creates Business Cases for each one. This ensures that every initiative can be compared based on its potential return, risk, and alignment with strategic goals.

The team leverages Scaleflow's overview table to easily compare initiatives based on their ROI, fostering a more transparent and data-driven approach to prioritisation during roadmap meetings. The Scaleflow Platform also makes VIKTOR's roadmap available to all stakeholders, keeping everyone informed about the prioritisation process and the status of each initiative.
